The 18/2 Thermostat Black by Southwire is a Class 2 power-limited circuit cable ideal for thermostat control applications, as well as bell and alarm systems. This cable complies with specifications such as CL2, allowing for power-limited use per NEC Article 725, MP classification for multi-purpose use as outlined in Articles 725, 760, and 800, and CM classification for communication applications per Article 800. It features sunlight-resistant PVC insulation and is constructed with solid bare copper conductors, adhering to UL standard 13. The wire is RoHS compliant and OSHA acceptable, ensuring safety and environmental standards. The construction includes solid copper conductors insulated with 6 mils of polypropylene, paralleled and encased in a brown PVC jacket.
