The Straight Silicone Coolant Hose is an extra long-lasting hose constructed with silicone rubber, designed for extremely high temperature service in radiator, heater, and other coolant transfer applications. It excels in extreme ambient and radiant temperature conditions, while resisting weathering, ozone, heat, and coolant deterioration. The silicone tube and cover are capable of withstanding prolonged exposure to under-hood and coolant heat. For installation, thermoplastic clamps or silicone hose clamps are recommended. This hose exceeds the SAE 20R1 (Class A standard wall) and has a temperature range of -70°F to +350°F (-56°C to +177°C). It is important to note that silicone's water permeation rate is 10 to 15 times greater than that of straight 2-ply coolant hose.
