Tripp Lite's Smart 3000NET intelligent, line interactive large tower UPS system is designed to protect servers, networking accessories, and telecommunications equipment from blackouts, voltage fluctuations, and transient surges. The system features a robust power handling capability of 3000VA/2400 watts, with large internal batteries offering runtime of 23 minutes at half load (1500VA/1200 watts) and 7 minutes at full load (3000VA/2400 watts). Users can expand runtime by adding optional external battery packs, BP24V28-2U (limit 1) and BP24V70-3U (multi-pack compatible). The UPS includes 8 protected outlets, remote monitoring capabilities via a built-in RS-232 enabled monitoring port, and standard UPS monitoring through 2 built-in contact closure ports. It comes with PowerAlert UPS monitoring and unattended shutdown software, along with all necessary cabling. An audible alarm and front panel LEDs provide real-time feedback on line power, battery status, and voltage regulation. The device also includes network grade AC surge suppression to protect against transient surges. It has automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to maintain a 120V output over an input voltage range of 87-140V. The UPS is covered by a two-year limited warranty, including $250,000 connected equipment insurance.
