The Makita® MAC2400 is a 2.5 HP, hand-carry air compressor featuring a 4.2-gallon twin stack tank with a maximum pressure of 130 PSI and delivers 4.2 CFM at 90 PSI. It is equipped with a high output cast iron pump with a Big Bore™ cylinder and piston, designed for maximum performance through a greater bore and stroke. The compressor operates at a low noise level due to its large 1,720 RPM pump, enhancing displacement while minimizing sound. Additionally, the low amp draw feature reduces the likelihood of tripped breakers and voltage drops that can lead to premature motor failure. The oil lubricated pump runs cooler, minimizing wear, while the roll-cage construction provides robust protection suitable for extreme jobsite environments. A large automotive-style industrial air filter increases air intake for greater efficiency. Its durable cast iron cylinder is designed to reduce wear and extend pump life, and is removable for easy maintenance. Features such as an oil sight glass allow for straightforward maintenance, and a lever handle ball valve serves as a tank drain for improved maintenance ease. The compressor also includes built-in thermal overload protection for enhanced motor safety. The kit comes with a 1/4" brass Makita® universal coupler.
