The Makita® MAC700 is a 2 HP, hand-carry air compressor with a 2.6-gallon hot dog tank, capable of delivering a maximum pressure of 130 PSI and a free air delivery of 3.3 CFM. Its high-output cast iron pump features a big bore cylinder and piston design, resulting in enhanced performance through greater bore and stroke. This compressor operates at a low noise level due to its 1,720 RPM pump, allowing for greater displacement at lower RPMs, and has a low amp draw to minimize tripped breakers and voltage drops that may lead to motor failure. The oil-lubricated system ensures cooler operation and reduced wear, while the durable cast iron cylinder promotes longevity and ease of maintenance, being removable for convenient access. An oil sight glass facilitates quick maintenance checks, and the lever handle ball valve tank drain enhances maintenance efficiency compared to traditional petcock designs. Additional features include a roll-bar handle for portability and protection, a large automotive-style industrial air filter for improved airflow, and built-in thermal overload protection for motor safety. The kit includes a 1/4" brass Makita® universal coupler.
