The oversize, square carbide tip of this drill is designed for better centering and clearance for toggle bolts, bolts, anchor screws, and expansion bolts, featuring a 118° point for improved performance. It has a regular helix design that facilitates easy chip removal and provides additional steel support for the drill tip, ensuring durability. For drill diameters exceeding 1/2", the shank is reduced to fit a 1/2" drill chuck. Constructed from high-grade carbide, this drill offers a longer-lasting life and conforms to ANSI specification B212.15-1994. It is compatible with rotation or rotary percussion drill motors, making it suitable for drilling in sandstone and green concrete. Additionally, the drill operates with a right-hand direction of rotation and has a shank length of 1.6875".
