The product features an oversize, square carbide tip designed for improved centering and clearance when working with toggle bolts, bolts, anchor screws, and expansion bolts. It has a 118° point and a regular helix that facilitates easy chip removal while providing more steel support for the drill tip. For drill diameters exceeding 1/2", the shank is reduced to fit a 1/2" drill chuck. Constructed from high-grade carbide, this drill is built for longevity and conforms to ANSI specification B212.15-1994. It is suitable for use with rotation or rotary percussion drill motors and is ideal for drilling into sandstone and green concrete. The drill operates with a right-hand direction of rotation and features a shank length of 1.5 inches.
