The oversize, square carbide tip is designed for improved centering and clearance when using toggle bolts, bolts, anchor screws, and expansion bolts, featuring a 118° point for precision. It incorporates a regular helix for easy chip removal and enhanced steel support for the drill tip. The shank is reduced to fit 1/2" drill chucks for drill diameters over 1/2". Constructed from high-grade carbide, this drill offers a longer-lasting lifespan. It conforms to ANSI specification B212.15-1994 and is compatible with rotation or rotary percussion drill motors, specifically for drilling in sandstone and green concrete. The drill is designed with a right-hand direction of rotation and has a shank length of 1.375 inches.
