The drill features an oversize, square carbide tip designed for improved centering and clearance when working with toggle bolts, bolts, anchor screws, and expansion bolts, with an included 118° point. It employs a regular helix that facilitates easy chip removal while providing increased steel support for the drill tip. For drill diameters exceeding 1/2", the shank is specifically reduced to fit a 1/2" drill chuck. Constructed from high-grade carbide, this drill ensures a longer lifespan and conforms to ANSI spec B212.15-1994. It is compatible with rotation or rotary percussion drill motors and is suitable for drilling in sandstone and green concrete. The drill operates with a right hand direction of rotation and has a shank length of 1.25".
