The combo kit of MERV 8 pre-filter and carbon filter is designed for the HERO HS300 whole-house filtration system. It effectively collects up to 90% of particles ranging from 3-10 microns in size, including pollen, dust, lint, dust mites, and pet dander, while the carbon filter is capable of arresting household odors such as cooking oil and smoke. For optimal performance, it is advisable to replace the filter every 3-6 months. The kit comprises 1 replacement MERV 8 / carbon combo filter.
