The APC Basic Rack PDU is designed for efficient power distribution, featuring an input voltage range of 100V to 120V, with input connections via NEMA L5-30P and a cord length of 10 feet (3.05 meters). It outputs 120V through NEMA 5-20R connections and comes complete with an installation guide, rack mounting brackets, and a toolless mounting kit. This PDU offers toolless mounting capabilities, allowing quick and easy installation in APC NetShelter enclosures, and can be mounted vertically to occupy zero U of rack space, thereby optimizing equipment placement. It includes resettable circuit breakers for quick recovery from overload events and supports a single input power source to conveniently power multiple pieces of rack-mounted equipment. The PDU is available in various input and output connections, accommodating 120V, 208V, or 230V power distribution to meet diverse power requirements, while APC’s units can provide up to 14.4kW using a single branch whip. Additionally, it offers a cost-effective solution for delivering multiple outlets to rack equipment.
