The Fortress® OSHA stair system provides safe and convenient access to temporary or permanent structures, featuring modularity and adjustability to accommodate virtually any layout and a wide range of entrance heights. This durable, aluminum stair system is designed for all weather conditions and high-traffic, repeated use. The platform and riser legs adjust independently to accommodate uneven ground conditions, with adjustments ranging from 23" to 34" (OSHA compliant at 25.5" and 34"). Constructed from aircraft quality, corrosion-resistant aluminum, it offers years of maintenance-free access. Included is a 96" canopy for overhead protection, featuring an aluminum frame with a 22-gauge galvanized steel roof, which attaches directly to the stair system without requiring footings or alterations. The canopy's boxed-frame design provides superior strength and durability, with all fittings made of high-quality aluminum or galvanized steel, and includes four-post cross member supports for wind load resistance. The system features slip-resistant tread on all walking surfaces for superior traction in various weather conditions. Installation is quick and easy with universal components and pre-assembled sections, along with handrails that can be installed on either side and fold flat for transport and storage. Each major component weighs less than 50 lbs., ensuring compliance with NIOSH lifting recommendations for safe, one-person installation. The system is made in the USA.
