Engineered and manufactured in the U.S.A., these compressors achieve a reduction in stationary compressor dBA ratings by as much as 25%. They are designed for installation and operation in all garage, farm shop, and industrial applications, eliminating the need for expensive separate buildings or structures to house the air compressor. The Whisper Silent Air Systems come pre-installed on the back of the tank with brackets for easy removal and a low profile. The system dissipates compressor intake noise by channeling intake air through a series of baffle plates and pre-filter media within the silencer cabinet, effectively trapping and dissipating piston intake noise while providing secondary filtration for cleaner air. The kit includes an Industrial Plus piston air compressor and an environmentally friendly refrigerated air dryer. Key features encompass all steel connecting rods equipped with replaceable rod bearing inserts for rebuildability, removable 100% cast iron cylinders for enhanced stability under heavy workloads, and all cast iron cylinder heads for increased durability. The design incorporates "disc valve design" intake and exhaust valves, top-quality compression and oil rings ensuring performance with low oil carry over (1-5 PPM), precision ground pistons machined to tight tolerances for minimal oil carry over, an all cast iron flywheel with a built-in fan, and built-in head unloaders to reduce internal pump heat during the unloading cycle. Additionally, built-in inter-coolers and after-coolers are provided to enhance overall performance.
