This formulation contains metal fillers that enable the Buna-N rubber to be detected by metal detection systems in the event of tearing or dropping into the process stream. It is constructed from FDA compliant materials suitable for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. Buna-N is particularly well-suited for oils, grease, fuels, and petroleum applications while also being effective with water and mild chemicals.
