Blankets are suitable for a wide range of materials from biofuels to food and beverage by offering even and continuous heating during the cold months. They feature patented heat grid Nanocarbon heating technology that increases the temperature during the first 20 minutes of operation while electrical current decreases. An automatic GFCI device built into the blanket provides a safe heating method for both product and contractor. The product is suitable for various plastic, fiber, and metal containers and is made of NFPA-certified flame-retardant vinyl welded at the seams. It is resistant to scuffs, UV rays, water, and harsh elements. Heavy-duty foil-faced, high thermal efficiency closed-cell foam insulation directs heat to the right location. The temperature can be precisely controlled to your set point with an optional temperature control module, or it is factory set to self-regulate. A proprietary strain relief cord entry seals the power cord entry and reduces wire stress. The blankets are made with the heaviest (18 oz) diagonally woven UV-resistant nylon materials of any other brand and are secured with adjustable nylon retaining straps and quick release nickel-plated buckles. This product is NRTL recognized to be safe, operates at 120VAC, and comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
