The Iron Eagle® exterior coated polyurethane on nylon jacket is designed to be lightweight yet durable, providing extreme comfort and flexibility while resisting fats, oils, pine tar, gasoline, grease, and various chemicals, making it ideal for demanding work environments. It is suitable for applications in food processing, sanitation, meat packing, forestry, agriculture, and petrochemical industries. The jacket offers good chemical resistance to most hydrocarbon oils, organic acids, salts, alkalines, and some organic solvents, though it is not recommended for use with ketones, alcohols, and certain solvents. Key features include a polyurethane on nylon jacket, batwing sleeve construction for maximum freedom of movement, Therm-O-Rad sealed seams for 100% waterproof protection, a storm fly front that seals out wind, rain, and contaminants, and heavy-duty snaps that are guaranteed not to fail. Additionally, it is mildew resistant, has a 2 mil exterior coating for exceptional snag and abrasion resistance, and features a sleek coating that is easy to decontaminate while providing excellent liquid shedding characteristics. The Therm-O-Rad sealed seams are designed to be stronger than the material itself, allowing for extensive laundering without compromising durability.
