SafetyFlex® is a specialty PVC designed for aggressive applications, featuring a flame-resistant polyester suit that combines tough protection with a comfortable fit. This suit is engineered to resist industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for chemical environments. It offers chemical resistance against many acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalies. Key features include Therm-O-Rad sealed seams that provide 100% liquid proof protection, a storm fly front that seals out wind, rain, and contaminants, and non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles. Additionally, it has hidden hardware for added protection, a zipper closure with a dual storm fly front, and is mildew resistant. The suit is flame resistant, self-extinguishing with flameout and afterglow less than or equal to 2 seconds after the removal of the ignition source, and has a char length of less than 6 inches, as per test method ASTM D6413. It features a heavy exterior coating for excellent permeation performance and offers a soft, supple feel for all-day comfort. The tapered sleeves are designed to fit in protective gloves or accommodate glove rings for added safety, and it is available in a distinctive safety green color for easy identification.
