Tissue culture flasks are available in tissue culture treated and non-treated suspension culture versions. The tissue culture treated flasks feature a uniform hydrophilic surface ideal for consistent cell attachment. Each flask is packaged in a convenient zip-closure bag, offering a practical alternative to folding and taping open bags. The large opening, canted neck design, and moderate angles facilitate easy access to the entire flask surface, making them ideal for use with cell scrapers. Designed with a stable base, the flasks can be filled while standing upright, and their thick, durable walls ensure reliability. Each flask is printed with a lot number and expiration date for easy identification and tracking. The molded, interlocking T design enhances stacking capability for sizes 75, 182, & 300 cm² as well as 250, 600 & 850 mL flasks. The vent caps incorporate a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane, and the 182 cm² flask provides more growth area than standard 175 cm² flasks. Additionally, the 182 cm² deep volume flask allows for increased media volume, enabling extended culture growth without the risk of drying out or depleting nutrients, which is beneficial for maintaining cell cultures over a weekend.
