The kit is designed for mammalian suspension culture applications as well as bacterial and yeast culture and is available with either solid or vent caps to eliminate the chance of unintended venting, unlike combination caps. The vent caps feature a 0.22µm hydrophobic membrane that allows for gas exchange without contamination, and the over-sized vent area in the cap improves gas exchange. Each unit is packaged sterile in individual bags for easy storage and handling. The product is manufactured from medical grade virgin PETG, which reduces gas permeability.
