The kit is designed for mammalian suspension culture applications as well as bacterial and yeast culture. It is available with either a solid or vent cap to eliminate the chance of unintended venting, unlike combination caps. The vent caps feature a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane that allows for gas exchange without contamination, while the oversized vent area in the cap improves gas exchange. The kit is packaged sterile in individual bags for easy storage and handling. It is manufactured from medical-grade virgin PETG, which reduces gas permeability.
