The helmet features a high-density polyethylene cap with vents on the top of the shell, designed to increase air circulation and help keep the wearer's head cooler. Its shell design includes a short peak and a low profile, and it comes equipped with a 4-point woven nylon suspension that offers easy quick-slide sizing, accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, and also allows for a chin strap attachment. Accessory slots are provided for compatibility with a wide range of eye, face, and hearing protection gear, while goggle retaining slots are molded into the suspension. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet is certified when the headband is installed in the reverse position and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, as well as ANSI Z89.1 Type 1, Class C requirements.
