The Americana Wildlands full brim style polycarbonate hard hat is designed to meet the NFPA 1977-2016 standard on protective clothing and equipment for wildland fire fighting, 2011 edition. It includes a Nomex/Kevlar chinstrap equipped with a postman's slide fastener and quick release buckle, as well as three goggle retaining clips on the hat shell. The hard hat features four yellow fluorescent retroreflective strips attached to the shell, tape for neck shroud attachment, and an affixed under-brim glare guard. A moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable, while the 4-point nylon webbing suspension comes with a Mega-Ratchet knob that adjusts head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8. The low hanging, padded, hinged ratchet is height adjustable for a personalized fit. This hard hat offers protection in environments with higher ambient temperatures or radiant heat, such as outdoor wildlands fire fighting. It is made in the USA and complies with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type 1 Class C, E & G.
