The Haws model 8315CTFP is a 220V heat traced combination shower and eye/face wash unit designed for safety and efficiency. It features a 3-way "easy activation, easy return" valve that minimizes 'dead leg' water, thereby reducing the risk of legionella growth. The compact design enables economical and safe shipment via UPS. The unit includes an Axion MSR hydrodynamic green ABS plastic showerhead measuring 10-5/8" (26.9 cm) with an integral self-regulating 20 GPM flow control, as well as an Axion MSR eye/face wash head that utilizes inverted directional laminar flow to achieve zero vertical velocity, supplied by a 4 GPM flow control. Additionally, it contains a thermostatically controlled electric heat traced cable encased in 1" (2.5 cm) insulation and protected by a green ABS plastic jacket, which prevents freezing in ambient temperatures as low as -30 F. The unit also comes with a powder-coated cast-iron 9" (22.9 cm) diameter floor flange, a universal sign, and a 1-1/4" NPT supply. It is rated Class 1, Div 2, Group B, C & D, with a maximum of 1.09 amps. For Class 1, Div 1 applications, the model 8317CTFPC1D1 is recommended.
