Zep DZ-7 is a neutral, quaternary ammonium chloride, hospital-grade detergent/disinfectant, part of the Zep GreenLink line of environmentally preferred products (EPP). This product effectively cleans and disinfects surfaces without damaging floor finishes and controls a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and viruses, including HIV, at a dilution of 4 ounces per gallon of water. Zep DZ-7 (EPA Reg. No 1839-168-1270) is also effective against the human coronavirus. In accordance with the guidance provided by EPA List N: Disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2, it should be applied following the label directions specific to human coronavirus and requires a 10-minute contact time for effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2.
