The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SC surface conditioning disc features an open-web fiber construction that runs cool and resists loading, while the included abrasives provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. It is designed for a variety of tasks including blending, deburring, and finishing, and is available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive mineral options. Silicon carbide is a sharp synthetic mineral suitable for low-pressure applications such as paint prep and finishing, while aluminum oxide is a hard, blocky mineral that offers high cut-rate and long life. Each disc utilizes the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system, allowing for quick and easy change-out on Roloc™ disc pads (sold separately), ensuring secure attachment even in heavy-duty applications. The discs are color-coded to indicate their grade, simplifying the selection process for different applications. Scotch-Brite™ products combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, promoting an efficient abrasive system that delivers consistent performance throughout the product's life. This construction minimizes part discoloration, warping, and clogging while extending the life of the disc. Applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, deburring, and finishing.
