The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ surface conditioning disc features an open-web fiber that runs cool and resists loading while its abrasives provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. The 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system allows for quick and easy disc change-out, making it suitable for various tasks including blending, deburring, and finishing. Available with silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals, the silicon carbide option is sharp and ideal for low-pressure applications like paint prep and finishing, whereas aluminum oxide offers a hard, blocky composition for high cut-rate and extended durability. The quick change discs easily attach to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), ensuring secure attachment even in heavy-duty applications. Each disc is color-coded for easy identification of its grade, facilitating quick selection for different tasks. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, delivering consistent performance for the product's lifespan. The open-web material reduces the risk of part discoloration and warping while the fibers resist loading, thereby enhancing cutting efficiency and longevity.
