This oil-filled nylon, presented in a natural color, is specifically designed for food contact applications. Its lack of pigment allows it to meet FDA regulations outlined in 21 CFR, sec. 177.15, as well as USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17, ensuring compliance for direct food contact. Typical applications for this material include FDA compliant bearings and bushings that serve as replacements for stainless steel in various food processing environments.
