Tygon® Tubing, specifically the Tygon 3350 sanitary silicone tubing, is engineered for high-purity applications with an ultra-smooth inner bore that minimizes the risk of particle entrapment and microscopic buildup during sensitive fluid transfer. In-house analysis demonstrates that its inner surface is up to three times smoother than that of other silicone tubing, enhancing system cleaning and sterilization. The tubing is produced through a platinum-curing process which alleviates concerns regarding extraction commonly associated with alternative curing methods. It has also been fully characterized in compliance with ISO 10993 standards, effectively reducing the cost and time associated with process validation.
