Phenolic tubes made from Grade L linen are produced using a fine weave cotton fabric, typically weighing less than 4 ounces per square yard, combined with phenolic resin. These tubes are designed for smaller and more intricate shapes compared to those made from Grade C canvas phenolic. This product is also referred to as linen phenolic, Micarta L, and Bakelite.
