The kit includes forged, quenched, and tempered hoist hooks with load-rated swivel hooks designed for optimal strength while minimizing weight and bulk. The low-profile hook tip is engineered to utilize the Crosby S-4320 or PL-N attach kit. Latch assemblies can be added even years after the initial purchase of the hook. Each hoist hook features forged markings that address two Quic-Check® functionalities: deformation indicators, which include two strategically placed marks—one located just below the shank or eye and another on the hook tip—that allow for measurement to determine changes in the throat opening indicating potential abuse or overload; and angle indicators that show the maximum included angle permitted between two sling legs in the hook, also providing an approximation for other included angles. This product holds type approval certification in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and the ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016. Certificates are available upon request at the time of order and may incur additional charges.
