The CM® flat eye rigging hook without latch has a capacity of 10,000 lbs and is specifically designed for use with synthetic slings. This hook features a wide, smooth, load-bearing surface that minimizes damage to synthetic materials, contributing to a longer sling life. The flat eye opening prevents bunching and pinching of the synthetic sling, allowing it to operate at its full capacity. Key features include high sling strength, as the flat eye design provides significantly greater strength compared to standard round eye-type fittings, with the eye width exceeding WSTDA recommended radii to ensure maximum synthetic strength. The hook is constructed from quenched and tempered alloy steel, ensuring strength and durability, and is versatile enough for use with web or round slings (note: for round slings, working load limits must be compatible). It is available with or without latches, using the same latches as other standard CM rigging hooks. The hook has a design factor of 5:1, is CE compliant, meets or exceeds ASME B30.10 standards, and is made in the USA.
