The CM® Flat Eye Rigging Hook with Latch has a capacity of 6000 lbs and is specifically designed for use with synthetic slings, featuring a wide, smooth, load-bearing surface that prevents damage to synthetic materials, thus promoting longer sling life. The flat eye opening eliminates bunching and pinching of the synthetic sling, allowing it to be utilized at full capacity. This rigging hook offers high sling strength, as the flat eye design significantly enhances synthetic sling strength compared to standard round eye-type fittings; the eye width exceeds WSTDA recommended radii to ensure maximum synthetic strength. Constructed from quenched and tempered alloy steel, the hook is both strong and durable. It is versatile enough for use with both web and round slings (note: ensure working load limits are compatible for round slings) and is available with or without latches, utilizing the same latches as other standard CM rigging hooks. The hook features a 5:1 design factor, is CE compliant, meets or exceeds ASME B30.10 standards, and is made in the USA.
