The flat eye opening effectively eliminates bunching and pinching, allowing the sling to operate at its full capacity. This hook provides high sling strength by preventing bunching, which is crucial for achieving significantly higher synthetic sling strength compared to standard round eye-type fittings. The eye width exceeds the WSTDA recommended radii to ensure maximum ultimate synthetic strength.
