The wire rope clip kit includes galvanized clips designed to resist corrosive and rusting action. These clips boast an efficiency rating of 80% for wire rope sizes ranging from 3/16" to 7/8" and 90% for sizes from 1" to 1-1/2". Each clip features bolts that are integral to the saddle, allowing for quick installation with nuts that can be positioned to enable a full arc swing of the wrench. All sizes of the clips come with forged steel saddles and are individually bagged or tagged with proper application instructions and warning information. The clips meet or exceed the requirements set by ASME B30.26, which includes aspects such as identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature requirements. Furthermore, they comply with critical performance standards related to fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability not addressed by ASME B30.26. The clips are assembled with standard heavy hex nuts and adhere to the performance requirements of Federal Specification FF-C-450 Type III, Class 1, excluding specific contractor-required provisions.
