The eye hoist hooks are available in both carbon steel and alloy steel, featuring a robust design factor of 5:1 for carbon steel and 4.5:1 for 30T - 60T alloy steel. These load-rated eye hooks are designed with maximum strength while minimizing weight and bulk, thanks to proper design, careful forging, and precision-controlled quenching and tempering. Each Crosby eye hook is equipped with a latch, and latch assemblies can be added even years after the original purchase. Each hook undergoes chemical analysis and tensile tests to verify chemistry and mechanical properties. Type approval certification is available in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel and Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges. The hoist hooks also comply with ASME B30.10 and feature two types of strategically placed markings that serve as deformation indicators and angle indicators, enhancing safety and usability.
