The forged and tempered hoist hooks feature swivel hooks that are load rated, ensuring maximum strength without excessive weight and bulk due to their proper design and precision-controlled quench and tempering process. The low-profile hook tip is designed to accommodate Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kits, with the option to add latch assemblies even years after the original purchase. Each hoist hook is marked with two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators, which include two strategically placed marks for measuring throat opening changes, and angle indicators that indicate the maximum included angle allowed between two sling legs. These features also allow for approximating other included angles. The hoist hooks comply with the ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with type approval certification available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges.
