This system removes the necessity for an additional piece of wire rope, as the dead end is firmly secured to the wedge, preventing loss or "punch out." Constructed from cast steel, the basket undergoes magnetic particle inspection for quality assurance. The pin diameter and jaw opening are compatible with wedges and sockets used in conjunction with closed swage and spelter sockets. The kit boasts an 80% efficiency rating based on the catalog strength of XXIP wire rope and includes Quic-Check markings to facilitate proper installation; the wire rope must pass through the "Go" hole while not entering the "No Go" hole on the wedge. Furthermore, the kit satisfies ASME B30.26 requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
