The forged hoist hooks are quenched and tempered, featuring load-rated swivel hooks designed for maximum strength without excessive weight and bulk. The low-profile hook tip is compatible with Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kits, allowing for the addition of latch assemblies even years after the original purchase. Each hoist hook includes forged markings that address two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators, which consist of two strategically placed marks to assess if the throat opening has changed due to abuse or overload, and angle indicators that indicate the maximum allowed angle between two sling legs. Type approval certification is available in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates provided upon request at the time of order, potentially incurring additional charges.
