The galvanized wire rope clips are designed to resist corrosive and rusting action, featuring an efficiency rating of 80% for sizes 3/16" - 7/8" and 90% for sizes 1" through 1-1/2", based on the catalog breaking strength of wire rope. Each clip includes forged steel saddles and bolts that are integral to the saddle design, allowing for quick installation with a wrench that can swing in a full arc. All clips are individually bagged or tagged with application instructions and warning information. The product meets or exceeds all ASME B30.26 requirements, including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature specifications, while also fulfilling additional performance criteria such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability. Assembled with standard heavy hex nuts, the FIST GRIP® wire clips comply with Federal Specification FF-C-450 Type III, Class 1, with the exception of provisions required of the contractor.
