The kit includes a forged alloy body that is quenched and tempered, along with an alloy pin. The alloy composition provides higher working load limits compared to the standard G-209 shackle, while maintaining the same shackle size. The working load limit is permanently marked on the shackle, which is hot-dip galvanized for enhanced durability. It is fatigue rated and can be furnished as proof-tested with certificates, available for an additional charge upon inquiry at the time of order.
