The Forged hoist hooks are quenched and tempered for maximum strength without excessive weight and bulk, featuring load-rated swivel hooks designed with a low profile hook tip that accommodates Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kits. These hooks allow for the addition of latch assemblies even years after the original purchase, ensuring flexibility in usage. Each hoist hook includes forged markings that provide two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators, with two strategically placed marks to assess any changes in throat opening caused by abuse or overload, and angle indicators to indicate the maximum included angle permissible between two sling legs. The hooks come with type approval certification in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges.
