The product features forged, quenched, and tempered hoist hooks with load-rated swivel hooks designed for maximum strength without excessive weight and bulk. The low profile hook tip utilizes the Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kit, and latch assemblies can be added even years after the original purchase. Each hook incorporates markings that address two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators, with two strategically placed marks to measure throat opening changes, indicating possible abuse or overload, and angle indicators that reveal the maximum included angle allowed between two sling legs in the hook and help approximate other included angles. The hooks also bear type approval certification in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, potentially incurring additional charges.
