The kit includes eye hoist hooks made from carbon steel and alloy steel, designed with a 5:1 design factor for carbon steel and a 4.5:1 design factor for alloy steel models ranging from 30T to 60T. Each eye hook is load rated, featuring a latch for added safety, and latch assemblies can be added even years after the original purchase. Maximum strength is achieved through proper design, careful forging, and precision-controlled quenching and tempering, minimizing excessive weight and bulk. Rigorous chemical analysis and tensile tests are carried out on each piece to ensure compliance with specified chemistry and mechanical properties. The eye hooks carry type approval certification in adherence to ABS 2016 Steel Vessel and Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges. The products comply with ASME B30.10 standards and are marked with two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators and angle indicators, strategically placed to enhance usability.
