The heavy-duty portable fume extractor - FE-1200 from Baileigh Industrial is designed to effectively remove fumes in welding shops, ensuring a clean work environment and safe air for workers. This 110V unit includes an 8" x 10' extractor arm and is powered by a 1.5 HP motor with an airflow capacity of 1110 CFM. It features a three-stage filter system comprising an aluminum mesh, a fire-resistant cartridge filter, and a HEPA filter. The extractor utilizes air pulse cleaning to maintain optimal performance when airflow is restricted; users can simply shut off the machine and press the air pulse button, which requires a 60-90 PSI air connection. An internal air tank automatically backflushes the cartridge filter, allowing for easy debris removal into a removable pan. Constructed from full steel, the extractor is portable and CSA, U.S. certified, and allows for tool-less filter maintenance.
