The gear-driven BS-260M industrial band saw is a versatile saw designed for various cutting applications. It operates on 220-volt single-phase power and features an AC inverter for speed control. The saw has a capacity of 8.66" round at 90°, and its dual-mitering head swivels up to 60° to the right and 45° to the left, allowing for quick adjustments with the quick-release head lock. Constructed with a solid cast iron saw bow and pivot, it ensures the straightest cuts with minimal vibration and accepts standard 1" blades. The saw is equipped with 8 precision ball bearings that maintain blade alignment and a patented blade tensioning device that monitors tension and automatically shuts down the machine if the blade breaks. The cutting speed can be adjusted from 66 to 280 FPM for high-quality material-specific cuts. Its direct-drive gearbox design eliminates the need for pulleys and belts, simplifying maintenance. It offers two operating modes: manual descent mode for small production runs, where the operator manually guides the material, and hydraulic descent for larger production runs, which reduces operator fatigue and enhances blade life. The hydraulic descent includes a downfeed adjustment for feed pressure. Additionally, it comes with a powerful flood coolant system that washes away metal chips and cools and lubricates the blade to prolong its lifespan.
