The VM-1258 knee milling machine from Baileigh Industrial is designed for large jobs, featuring a substantial 12" x 58" table, one of the largest available on a manual mill. The machine is constructed with high-quality castings to ensure rigidity, allowing for improved cutting performance. It is equipped with a NST 40 spindle that offers enhanced strength and tighter tolerances, operated by a Yaskawa® inverter powered by a 5HP 220 volt three-phase motor, allowing an adjustable RPM range from 80 to 3800 RPM. The three axes of movement are powered for ease of operation, and a Mitutoyo® digital readout is included as a standard feature for the X and Y axes, which also incorporate square slideways with covers and ball screws for optimal movement. Additionally, the VM-1258 includes a flood coolant system, air drawbar, and central lubrication system, all factory installed. The machine is backed by a warranty, ensuring peace of mind for users.
