This semi-automatic, 3 phase cold saw features a robust design built for durability and efficiency. It includes a cast iron head and base, a pneumatic vise, and a flood coolant system, accommodating an 11" blade with a maximum cutting capacity of 2.75" round tube at 90°. The saw is capable of cutting thin-, medium-, or thick-walled pipe, as well as tubing, extrusions, and solid bar stock. It offers mitering capabilities at 45° right and 90° left, making it suitable for slotting applications. Users can switch between two operating speeds, 60 and 120 RPM, depending on the cutting requirement, powered by a 3 HP motor that operates on 220-volt 3-phase electricity. The design incorporates semi-automatic technology and features heavy-duty cast iron construction to minimize vibrations, ensuring high-quality cuts with smooth edges. The head is equipped with all-metal, ground, and hardened gears for longevity, alongside a backlash adjustment for maintaining tight tolerances over years of use. An American-style self-centering vise positions the material accurately, aided by a pneumatic vise for easy clamping without manual locking. The saw operates in both manual and semi-automatic modes, with a foot pedal for automated operation. Once the cut is completed, the saw shuts down and the head rises automatically, eliminating the need for manual repositioning. A stop rod allows for repeatable length cuts, while the rigid cast iron base and sturdy folded steel stand enhance stability and reduce vibrations for precise cutting.
