Made in the USA, the TN-600 abrasive notcher combines a powerful 5 HP motor with advanced features such as a patented self-centering vise and a polished slideway. It requires only 220 volts of single-phase power and can notch up to 3" OD tubing at 60° with optional mandrels. The wide 6" x 79" belt spins at 5,400 feet per minute, and it includes an adjustable stop for repeatable parts during production runs. A large degree dial helps reference the angle of the notch, while the self-centering vise allows for quick material changes and ensures proper positioning on the belt. The V-jaws of the vise tightly grip both light- and heavy-gauge tubes, and a quick-release vice facilitates efficient material movement to enhance the accuracy of notching. The smooth rail system is controlled by an industrial helm joint and polished slideway, and belt tension can be adjusted using a convenient wheel. Various sizes of mandrels are available separately, with Baileigh typically keeping them in stock for fast shipments.
