The BB-9612 is a heavy-duty metal box and pan brake designed for bending a 4-foot x 8-foot sheet of 12 gauge mild steel along its length. It features a robust steel framework that ensures decades of durability and reliable production, with an 8-foot (96") bending width and a maximum capacity for 12 gauge mild steel and 16 gauge stainless steel. The brake allows for bend angles of up to 135°, and comes with a 22 finger assortment of varying sizes: 6 fingers of 3", 4 fingers of 4", 10 fingers of 5", and 2 fingers of 6". It has a maximum box depth of 6", and the hardened fingers and bending rail deliver extremely straight and tight bends, even with stainless steel. The apron side shafts operate in oilable bearings to enhance tolerance and extend the life of the apron, which is reinforced by heavy truss rods to combat deflection. The system includes 2 substantial bending apron counterweights to minimize fatigue when operating at full capacity.
