The BS-712MS horizontal vertical metal bandsaw is designed for versatility, functioning effectively as both a horizontal and vertical saw, making it ideal for spaces where room is limited. It operates on 120-volt single-phase power and features a capacity of 7" OD round and 7" x 10-1/4" rectangle in horizontal position at 90°. The saw accepts standard .75"-wide blades and offers three cutting speeds: 125, 215, and 270 FPM. Its cast iron head and bow are machined for precise alignment, enhancing durability. Transitioning to vertical operation for shape cutting is effortless, achieved by lifting and locking the bow in place. The swivel head enables mitering for enhanced productivity and efficient material usage. Additionally, adjustable blade guides and eight sealed ball bearings increase blade life and maintain alignment. The saw is constructed with a fully-welded steel plate framework for stability and strength, and mobility is facilitated by wheels on the base.
